Thinking about stopping pumping - help?

My DD is nearly 10 months and I work 4 days a week. She's breastfed and obviously on solids too. I either pump once or twice a day at work but I'm getting tired of it, I miss my lunch breaks, and I feel like my colleagues are getting snarky about the odd afternoon breaks I have (which I know is none of their business, it's been agreed with management and they're very supportive etc).

I'm just wondering whether it's possible to stop pumping now and just rely on feeds morning/evening/night, or whether I should slog on another couple of months until she can have cows milk? No issues with supply or anything and I absolutely don't want to give formula, would continue pumping instead.

Any hints/tips/thoughts would be appreciated.

Oh, I should probably say - she does eat well, so I'm not worried about that side of things.

She'll be fine morning and night :).

She may add in an extra evening, or night feeds if she needs it, but if that's preferable to expressing, great.

One if mine stoppet her day feeds naturally about 10m, the other refused bottles, so had a dairy snack at nursery and a night feed instead.

We mostly co-sleep so she helps herself during the night anyway Grin

I just started thinking of it because her childminder said she doesn't seem as bothered for her milk lately - she usually just has two feeds, late morning and late afternoon. I don't know how I'd get her to cut down and I don't want to cause her any upset. It kind of feels selfish wanting to stop pumping (though I know that sounds a bit silly).

I went back to work at 10.5 months and just fed when we were together. It was fine, she added in an extra early evening feed, and fed as usual at weekends.

Ditto Rinceoir, she (and your boobs and supply) will be fine.

I did the same as Rinceoir: back to work at 10 months, 4 days a week and only fed when we were together. Other days he was at nursery/with DH and he just had food and water. Nursery used to give him a solid snack (like the slightly older children had) when other babies had bottles in the morning/afternoon. He was fine.
