Ds4 is now 2 months and is the best eater out of the 4 of them. He's putting on weight beautifully goes reasonable amounts between feeds even only feeding once in the night since 6 weeks most nights which is amazing compared with his brothers.

I'm back to my pre-birth weight which could be lower with a rather flabby stomach and eating lots however, my nails keep on breaking, I have bruises all over my legs and now I'm in a lot of pain from mouth ulcers. In addition to eating well (and like a horse) I'm also taking vitamins b1, c and d.

Has anyone got any suggestions of anything else I can do/take to feel better? I'm feeling really run down and miserable (and jealous of all those people who the weight just falls off when they breast fed)

Sounds like you're doing great. Took me two years to lose my baby weight the first time. And about the same time before baby slept anywhere as near as good as yours. Maybe you should rest more and let yourself recover when you're good and ready.

DD is 7months & a fussy eater, very clingy/non sleeper (currently doing some high pitched screaming & hitting me with a toy in protest) & I haven't lost even a shed of my weight (ebf & now bf + weaning)
Ds (3) wakes at 5 most mornings Sad

You must be exhausted with three other little ones. Do you get any time for yourself?
I promise you're not alone though
Flowers sounds like you're doing great! You need to give yourself a break.

Thanks. I think it's down to luck plus not putting on that much with this pregnancy. Generally I found that I put on while feeding the last 2 times. A nap definitely helped with feeling less run down today. Thankfully the other 3 are in school so it's not too bad. All of mine are early risers except occasionally on school days. It's grim...

I'm finding two tough so I salute you. Hold on to the fact that it will get easier. And your body will return to its usual state in its own time. X

Excess vit C causes mouth ulcers. Other than that, well done, you're doing fab, sorry you feel so rubbish. Oh, zinc and calcium for nails.

Bruises all over my legs were a sign of my low iron and also let me to feel quite ill. Maybe ask GP for blood test so they can check a few things out?

definitely recommend a dr's visit for all these symptoms. it might be nothing (body exhausted) but it could be something more serious.

Pleased to hear your baby is doing so well. Definitely get your iron checked, see if your doc can do a range of blood tests to check for any other deficiencies.
