DM is taking DD2 (10 months) off my hands for a couple of hours Wednesday because we're moving, DD2 is on meals and snacks but has breast milk as a drink and calming purposes, etc. I've found some frozen milk expressed 7-8 months ago in the freezer (never go out, used to have an over supply), will this be safe to thaw and use of needed? Thanks in advance!

I was told that frozen breastmilk should be disposed of after six months.

I wouldn't use the milk after 7-8 months. On looking at the nhs website it says

Storing breast milk

You can store breast milk in a sterilised container:

in the fridge for up to five days at 4C or lower
for two weeks in the ice compartment of a fridge
for up to six months in a freezer
