echinacea & sambucol while bf?

have a raging sore throat & home alone this week with 3 kids so really don't need a cold. Anyone know if I can take either or both of these?

Echinacea is fine during BF, I have used it loads in the past while BF.
A spoonful of manuka honey every few hours is great for a sore throat too. make sure it says "active +5 or +10" on the jar. its more expensive than honey but its fantastic for throat and coughs.
