cold milk = wind

I dunno why I think this, it's just a hunch I have, am I right that cold milk is more likely to give a baby wind?

It's a common saying, but it does not make sense to me.

How would the temperature of the milk affect the amount of air in the baby's tummy, or the baby's ability to deal with it?

That isn't science, though......:)

Science would be explaining why and showing in tests that it happens.

what I mean is that sometimes scientific fact can seem counter-intuitive. In this case I don't know what the science is.
