Woman BFeeding Indiscreetly in Tesco Cafe

I saw a woman breastfeeding indiscreetly in Tesco's cafe today and do you know what?? You still couldn't see anything more than you'd see on someone wearing a lowcut frock. I honestly don't know why people get het up about bfing in public.

It's disgusting. It's a private act and not to be shared with the public gaze. Have these women no sense of shame or taste?

I don't think it matters somewhere common like a supermarket but it shouldn't be allowed in more upmarket establishments

You mean Tesco isn't upmarket???????

For teh interminably long times that I bf both our kids, I must admit that I whipped out the baps if I so much as spotted a snotty looking detractor within 50 paces. Kids probably didn't want any of it...

But dammit, I was hormonal, gunning for a fight, and I was in the right

Which branch suedonim - I was bf in a Tesco cafe yesterday afternoon?! Hopefully not indiscreetly enough to warrant comment though!

I bf in the m&s coffee shop yesterday...and then in a terribly pretentious bar which wouldn't be my first choice of venue but it was damn cold and close!

Feel very proud as yesterday was my first bf in public. Did notice MIL building a subtle barricade around me with her shopping bags! I didn't feel uncomfortable at all and noticed lots of approving looks...

I remember once bf in a fairly swish restaurant, and the couple on the next table giving us 'the look'. Then they summoned the waiter over, and were clearly making a complaint.

I steeled myself and formulated a response as the waiter approached us. He politely asked whether he should delay the next course for us all until the baby had finished feeding Then he glared at the next-table-couple.

if i have to do a xmas shop this week I will have to perfect the art of bfing DD2 whilst she is sitting in the trolley and reach the goodies off the shelves at the same time! I am currently strectching my boobs by dangling weights off them....in Africa women can feed over their shoulder so I know it's possible!!

at those who were ready for a fight! It felt like the right time of year to do a bit of teasing. It was lovely to see a family of mum, dad, toddler, tiny baby and granny, all very happy and the baby literally in the bosom of the family - it made me feel all Christmassy.

CSWS, it was the Aberdeen Bridge of Don Tesco. The newly-opened Westhill branch doesn't have a cafe - I won't be going there again!

LOL!

I have breastfed cross legged under a rail of curtain samples in a department store (I was with my Mum who is the world's worst decision maker and I knew we were in for a long afternoon, there was no way DS2 was going to wait until she was finished). No one dared comment.
