We've just started weaning my 6m old. The first two times he tried egg, he was fine. The third time he ate quite a lot of egg and was violently sick for the rest of that afternoon. No fever, but was really sad and tired. However this was combined with him having a bottle of formula which is unusual for him as he is otherwise ebf. Health visitor suggested we try egg again and monitor him.
Today he had the tiniest tiniest bit of egg (not in the mood for food today!) and was again violently sick. This time, just sick once and he seemed fine afterwards.
He's really not a sicky baby at all so there's definitely something going on. There's no other symptoms other than the sickness. I can't get a gp appointment til next Thursday.
Obviously no eggs on his little menu for now, as I am EBF should I cut eggs from my diet too? He's always been a fussy baby and now I'm really freaking out that it's been eggs all along...
Any thoughts or experience of this much appreciated... Had a Google and can't find anything helpful!
