FOr dc2 I just used the same bottles and bought new teats. (Medela bottles for collecting milk at work and TT closer to nature for feeding )

I also used the same Medela swing pump.

It's been almost 3 more years since I used any of it and I'm just wondering if it world be better to invest in some new stuff.

The stories about the swing possibly being gunky inside make me nervous and I'm not sure how long people normally use bottles for before they are replaced!

Am I over worrying or not? Smile

I had a medela swing pump. I used it a lot but milk getting inside occasionally was a problem. When it conked out, out of interest I cracked it open to have a look at it and was rather grim inside where milk had managed to flow back into the pump. So I'd definitely replace that particular pump. Bottles I'd be less concerned about if thoroughly scrubbed and sanitised. However I found they got pretty stained through going through the dishwasher when DC was a bit bigger so I threw them away and will rebuy if needed.

Mine have all been hand washed so im going to see if they look scratched and worn. I only need a few so might just bite the bullet and get some.

Thanks.

I was looking at the various blogs where the swing has been dismantled. It's putting me off a bit. But then I had a similar age gap between the first two DC and had no idea!
