Infant feeding

Back to work for a day, leaky full boobs help please!

I have to go in to my (new) workplace for a day next week but my 6m dd is still feeding a lot during the day and my boobs still get really full, leak etc and I don't think i can go a day without feeding her/expressing (I hate expressing though as my supply seems to go in to overdrive) I'm going to ask if i can have her brought in to work so I can go outside and feed her. This isn't too ideal as lunch time is probably when they will want us to get to know new colleagues informally but I'm not sure what else I could do.

What I'm hoping for help on is whether there anything I can do now to stop her feeding as much during the day? She's taken to solids really well but we are blw so the volumes are quite small even on 3 meals. Should I attempt this when she doesn't take a bottle?
I know I could express but I feel really awkward about this in a new work environment which is quite male dominated.

How about a manual pump, quiet and could just do it in the toilets and chuck the milk. Only express enough to take the edge off. Would it be doable who take 5 minutes in the loo a few times in the day?

I went back to work at 6 months when my DS was still breastfeeding. I didn't need a pump, just a bit of manual extraction in the toilets a couple of times a day eased things. It is a bit uncomfortable but probably easiest if you're only back for one day. Make sure you've got breast pads in, spare ones and a comfy bra.

That's a good idea, we did have one when did first born so I will try to dig it out. Only thing that worries me is would that stimulate boobs to make even more milk? i guess not if I literally only do a small amount.

I used a manual quietly for comfort today at work. Works really well. I kept the mill as have access to a fridge at work.

Thanks for the advice looks like a manual is the way to go. Would love to keep the milk but I may have to discard initially. If I do pump when I go back properly in sept I will definitely try to keep it.
