Infant feeding

Milk for 13 month old

Until last night my 13 month old's milk intake would be:
Cows milk on porridge in morning and tiny bit in sippy cup
Tiny amount (few sips) in sippy always offered before bath
Very small breastfeed right before sleep
I've just stopped the breastfeed.
I'll continue to offer the sippy before bed but slightly concerned he's not getting enough milk.
I think he probably has 100/150ml at breakfast + 1 or 2 90g yoghurts.
now that I have stopped the feel before bed I feel he might not be getting enough milk. Any thoughts?

My 13 month old has cows milk on porridge plus a little bit in a soppy before bed. Plus 1 100g yoghurt and a piece of cheese a day (not always eaten mind you!). she eats a lot of pasta and I always grate cheese on to that.

Does he refuse a bottle then?

Thanks Oly, sounds v similar. He's always refused a bottle. May try offering sippy without the lid (he gets quite excited about normal cup and will sometimes drink more)

Yeah, my daughter doesn't drink loads of milk, despite my best efforts. I wouldn't introduce a bottle now, it's not good for their teeth after 12 months. Focus on silly things like leaving weetabix forever to soak up milk, plus lots of cheese. You do have to watch salt content of cheese but that's pretty much the only place my daughter gets salt. If your baby will have extra yoghurt, even better!
