SMA LF / C&G COMFORT

Hi

My HV seems to think that my 13 wk old DD is lactose intolerant and told me to try SMA LF. I started her on this 3 days ago and she does seem slightly better.

I've also read about Cow & Gate Comfort, as I'm already near the end of the SMA LF tin is it OK to swap to Comfort or should I keep going with the LF (as this was the one the HV advised).

Sorry I do not have advice, but I do suggest you have her tested properly for lactose intolerance. I was under the impression that Cow and Gate Comfort was for colic? I might be wrong.

C&G Omneo Comfort is not clinically lactose free where as SMA LF is tho it still contains a very small amount of lactose in it.

It can take several weeks for the gut to settle down but it sounds hopefully if she is more settled.

SMA LF is available on prescription, speak to your gp as she is showing positive signs.
