When to stop dream feeding?

My 10 week old has a bottle at about 7pm and goes to bed soon after. We semi wake him for a nappy change and feed somewhere between 10.30-11pm and this usually sees him through until about 4am.
He normally takes 5oz at 10.30pm so he obviously needs it at the mo but when do I know when he is able to sleep through till 4 without it? Am I just encouraging a bad habit of getting him used to a bottle at that time? Is it just a case of trial and error and leave him for a few nights to see what his pattern appears to be?
In an ideal world I'd rather drop the 4am feed first haha...!
When have others dropped it? I know not yet as he's too young but just wondering for the months to come!

Watching with interest. I'm in an almost identical situation and was discussing this earlier!

I have exactly the same routine with my 15 wk old although he'll go to around 5am after his 11pm feed. He takes 7oz in his bottle from DH (bf at other times) so he must need it....we only started doing this at 12 wks as he would never take a dream feed before. Tbh I'm more focused on him going through to 7am if possible! DH enjoys doing the feed so I'm quite happy. I'll revisit at around 6 months I reckon.
