Baby is 8.5months and is now having three feeds a day - first thing, afternoon (time a bit variable) and bedtime. I was also feeding him if he woke in the night (usually doesn't) but have now stopped and offer water instead. He is guzzling three meals a day plus snacks and generally doing very well.
I just wondered when I can drop another feed, and if so which one? The afternoon one would seem logical but he doesn't always take much at bedtime because it's quite soon after his dinner, and because he's often sleepy. Would it be weird to lose the bedtime feed and keep the afternoon one? Also, he always has both sides, could I try giving one side only at both the afternoon and evening feed instead of dropping one?
I'm keen to cut down as soon as he doesn't need it any more because I'm still losing weight which I can't really afford to keep doing as I'm not exactly large to start with.
