must be the only one I haven't tried for my dd (who suffers from silent reflux and constipation). I've tried all the main brands, Enfamil ar and Nutramigen. Any of you have tried Nanny? Thanks for any advice. This must be the number one million thread I start because of my dd reflux but we are pretty much desperate now.

They've stopped selling Goats' milk formula, I thought.

Have they? So why has my chiropractor recommended it to me? He said that he gives it to his ds...

Was only a few weeks ago that it was withdrawn so there still may be stock in circulation. Info here

Oh you have my sympathies nuria.
My ds has reflux and its awful. We're still going with Enfamil atm and after a referal appt at hospital yesterday, was offered Ranitidine. But i guess thats more for the pain than stay down effect.

What formula are you using now?

my ds had it from a very young age when he was mixed fed as he couldnt tolerate any of the cows milk formulas..he would scream the place down and then he even started refusing to drink the bottle ..that is until i put him on nannys milk and he thrived in every aspect so im not really agreeing on what theyve said in that report and i`m happy to give kids nanny formula..its entirely up to you...

When ds was weaned of the breast at 16mths it quickly became apparent he was allergic to dairy. I tried all the soya based products first but he very quickly became allergic to those too. I gave him the nanny formula and it was great. He had that until he was 2 and rice milk, the fortified one after that. I had no problems and it worked a treat. He has since grown out of it thankfuly. Hope it helps

Thanks everybody and thanks lizs for the link. How bad, I was pretty convinced about the goat's milk tbh. Did some research and only problem seemed to be having too much salts for babies kidneys to handle but Nanny manufacters apparently had solved this by altering the composition.
Wonder what are we going to use now...
Scream, my dd is on Ranitidine as well. It does help her with the pain (not 100% though) but it doesnt solve the problem.
After trying Aalmost everything that is around we are giving her now Sma powder. Seems the best for her because the first ingredient is whey and not milk and therefore better for reflux.

Just talked with my chemist. He will have it until march 2007 and after that it will continue to be around just under a different name. Will try it this afternoon. Fingers crossed!
