I've felt fine all day. Came up to bed with my 6mth old DS2 at 8:30. lay down and noticed my left breast was slightly sore. Thought here we go again (had it 3 times back to back through September!!)! Went to sleep for all of 2 hrs before he woke up and breast felt twice as sore. Got up and felt like crap immediately and now sat in bed feeding and shivering my arse off, aching all over! This has happened before. Can it really develop that quickly?! I really don't want antibiotics again. Do aches and shivers mean it's definitely an infection or can a blocked duct cause these symptoms? Don't know whether to see GP in the morning or wait it out a couple of days. I'm beyond sick of all this! I've been constantly ill for the best part of my maternity leave and feel so tired and run down (I have a non-sleeper for the 2nd time round). I fed my first DS1 until he was 2 and wanted to do the same for DS2 but don't know how much more I can take. Sat here in tears. DHs only helpful comment was "you know you're going to have to give up breastfeeding don't you!')
