Infant feeding

Unpleasant feeds

DD is 6 months old. She was easy to establish breastfeeding however as she's got older most feeds are quite unpleasant as she pulls my nipple with her mouth and pinches my skin tightly in the opposite direction.
I don't think over or under supply is the problem as she gains well and I'm not engorged either.
DS was awful to get started feeding but then I fed him with ease until over 2 mid pregnancy. So I feel bad when thoughts of stopping feeding dd arise, as it feels unfair.
Has anyone experienced similar, and has got through nasty feeding phases?

Dd went through a phase of something like this (for a month or so) when she was around 6 or 7 months old. I though she might be teething and was concerned it might get really painful but nothing materialised and she just stopped doing it. I did sometimes say no and relatch her when she did it.

Thanks, I did similar with DS when he bit for a couple of weeks. This feels a bit different, almost like she's 'kneading' me. But I will try!
