Still want milk from me

My child is already 2 years old and a half and yet she still want to suck milk from me. It seems that my milk can still grant her the comfort that she needs when she's wakes up in the middle of the night or when she has bit tantrums.

And are you happy to continue feeding her? The WHO guidelines are that breast feeding is recommended until 2 and beyond, for as long as mother and child wish. if you are both happy to continue, there is no problem.

The best thing about feeding a toddler is always having a tool on hand that will cam them down. And children under 5 years age are classed as being high risk for illness. But you are still supporting his immune system by breastfeeding, when ever he's ill you'll make antibodies which are passed through your milk. You'll be helping him get better. It truly is fabulous stuff.

If your birth still happy feeding then why not just allow your toddler to selfwean.
