14 wo suddenly a poo machine!!

My 14 wo is EBF and for the last few weeks has only been depositing a number 2 every 3 days or so, he is also a great sleeper and has been sleeping through fairly regularly for a few weeks now. However the last 2/3 days we are back to 2 night feeds and constant pooping. Earlier on I changed 4 nappies in a row in the space of about 15 minutes.

Instinct tells me this is some kind of growth spurt but I guess I am just looking for some reassurance it's not a tummy big or something I'm missing. Do they have a growth spurt at this age? And how long do they last generally?

My first baby just never slept, ever. So didn't notice any of these patterns

Is everything else ok? Is he bright and alert at times? Does he seem unwell?
