I use a camelbak kids bottle metal for my son. When he was 5 months old he started stealing my bottle so I bought him a kids bottle .

Oh yes, the Doidy is brilliant for learning cup skills (DS2 managed it from 4.5 months after refusing any and all bottles) but it is very, very definitely not non spill. smile

Have you tried a Doidy cup? They look odd but are totally brilliant for bf babies, as they have no spout, are thin, have kiddie sized handles and its tilted so they can see what they are drinking. You can only put tiny amounts in to start though as they will end up showering themselves. Remember he is learning a new skill and it requires hand eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills etc. There is no cup like a boob, other than a bottle. Like everything with babies, its all trial and error. I have 3 children and all have been and still are very different, and all favoured different cups/bottles, boobs etc! Lol

I've found the Tommy Tippee non spill ones reasonably good for, well, not spilling, unless DS manages to fling it to the floor and knock the valve out. Also unlike some of the other non-spills it doesn't seem to require the strength of ten men to actually get any liquid out of it.

Hi ladies
Not sure if this is the right place to ask so forgive if I am in the wrong place.
My baby is nearly 14 months old.He is pure bf.I have never expressed,he has never had a bottle..just me..I am hugely proud of this as drs never expected me to be able to bf due to my medical history.
Anyways..14 months in and I am still going strong. However, since weaning my lo has been having water in a cup etca M&D have been trying with cows milk..Now here comes the problem..I have tried virtually every single type of beaker, cup etc known to man and for some reason as well as drinking it he likes to chew on the end(teething) therefore absolutely soaking him and the carpet. As we are having sleep issues my husband would like to be able to try giving him warm milk in the night if needed or very early mornings to give me a little rest but I really need some type of cut that's like my boob that doesn't spill etc?
Does such a thing exist?Do any of you other bf mums have or had this problem?
As I said,he has never had a bottle and I am loathe to give him one now..he drinks easily from every cup I have given him but it still soaks him.
Sorry for the essay and apologies if I have posted in the wrong place but feel more at home amongst the bf ladies as this is all I know.
Thanks in advance and keep up the great bf work.
