Infant feeding

How often (18 week old)...

I was just wondering how often others breastfeed their little ones throughout the night? My ds has a feed at 7pm, 10pm, 1am, 4am & 7am (or thereabouts). He naturally wakes for these & I was curious about what others are doing at 4/5 months.

18 weeks here and DD feeds at bedtime (usually between7-8pm) then wakes any time between 2-4am and then again 3 hours after her first wake up, so if it's a 2am she feeds again at 5am and it's (hopefully) back to sleep, but if the second wake up is 6am or later we start the day.

My 17wk dd usually feeds to sleep at nine and then have one feed in the night - anytime between 2 and 5 and then back to sleep till 7.30ish. Depending on time of waking will depend on when she's up for the day.

Although this has all gone to pot recently when she had a cold and was waking every 2 hrs. Although during this time I tried only feeding her twice in the night and tried shush/pat/finger when she stirred the other times.
