Need to get 8m old boob monster off the breast...help me!!

Hello ladies,

I hope you can help.

I have an 8m old boy who I need to get onto formula. He doesn't like bottles, it would appear but will take some formula milk from a Doidy.

My other two weaned themselves off at 10 and 14 months respectively, so I've not really had to force them off the boob before.

How do I do it? He sleeps next to me in an Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper (best investment ever, btw).

We used to give him a pre-emptive bottle at 11pm which he would take in his sleep. Now he won't...sigh.

So I guess, really througout the day I can stop feeds but how do you do it at night when the little blighter goes mad at a bottle!!

He's eating plenty throughout the day, drinking enough milk etc when I give it to him via the doidy...it's just the nighttimes I'm worried about.

Any ideas for me?Hi
