Help, my nipples are so sore and peeling, what can I put on them that is safe for baby to taste? Don't fancy normal nipple creams.

Poor you. Lansinoh is fine to leave on (pure lanolin). Do you know what's causing the soreness? I'm sure some more knowledgeable people will have some suggestions.

I'm not expert enough to help really but it could be the way your baby is attached to your breast. Has someone checked for you? Sometimes babies can have tongue ties which often also causes nipple pain among other things. Can you get some real life support or ring one of the helplines e.g. nct or le leche league? Hopefully someone else will spot this too.

I second that. Maybe call the breast feeding helpline. If the nipples are peeling that's normally a sign of something wrong. Poss tongue tied or a bad latch. breastfeeding shouldn't hurt. Lansinoh was good for me.
