3 mo nursing strike - help!

Would greatly appreciate some advice on teething related nursing strikes.

My 3.5 month old ebf dd has refused to feed from me for 2 days now. Pretty sure it's teething related (took her to doctor yesterday to make sure it wasn't anything more sinister). I'm expressing and feeding her with a syringe (won't take a bottle either) but it means we can't really leave the house because it takes so long. I did get her to bf this morning when she was half asleep and put teething gel on her gums first but she's since refused again and gets v upset.

Has anyone experienced teething related nursing strikes and how long did it last for?

Thanks

Have you tried anbesol? That might help with the pain better than bonjela?

Good luck!

Thanks very much for your reply. I have some anbesol and it is great, put some on her gums and managed to get her to feed earlier today, & twice since, so I'm very relieved. :)
