Ds nearly 4mo. Mix fed. Realised today he is only getting about 500ml ff a day and the rest is bf which is a bit in the day but mostly after first wake up around 2am from when we co-sleep/feed all night. Realised today given he is big and around 8kg he needs between 1200-1600ml per day (based on baby centre saying 150-200ml per kg) he really needs more food in the day to break the waking and feeding thoughtful the night thing. Any tips on how to do this though? Just gave bf and then bottle and though obv I don't know how much bf he got he only took 30ml ff before pushing it away.

Haven't mix fed so dont really know on this one sorry, is it a recent thing? Could it be the 4 month sleep regression? How often is he waking after 2am? Bfing often at this age at that time is normal, in fact its normal for and healthy for all babies to wake at night at this age, so not necessarily something you can or should fix.

Have a look at the [http://www.isisonline.org.uk/ isis website]]. It's a good place to start if you want to make changes and if you are in the uk I'd call one of the bfing helplines and speak to a BFC about quantities and cluster feeding. Have you read the book Sound Sleep or this article 31 ways to get your baby to sleep and stay asleep?
