Terrified of BF problems

I only stopped BFing DS in June last year when I fell preggers having done it for 13 months but I am petrified about doing it with babba. Had massive problems with DD and DS due to tongue ties in both cases, so expressed for 5.5 months with DD as tongue tie snip failed, and it took over 2 months for BFing to stop being agony with DS even after TT snip. Soooo scared babba will also have tongue tie as not sure I can cope with the difficulties again, esp with DD and DS to look after! Not sure anyone can advise but I feel better for voicing my worries!!

You'll know what to look out for this time and where/when to get help, which is already a big head start on the first time. There might be no issues either!

Good luck with your pg :)

I'm not surprised you're scared, I would be too!

Seeing as you're voicing your concerns, I'm going to tell you what I think. Give it a go and if it bloody hurts like hell, stop it and move onto expressing or formula. There's nothing to be gained from being a stressed out, poorly mum with aching painful norks.

FWIW, I BF DD for 14 months and all went well but my little brother was never BF due to the same sort of problems you've described and he's now a Dr of Physics. I'm not trying to be flippant about the need for BF but it's not the be all and end all of good parenting.
