My DD is 5 weeks and 13lb. I've neen setting my alarm for every 4-5 hours in the night but I always have to wake her. She feeds a LOT during the day (I'm bf-ing). Can I leave her longer than this at this age?? Let her go a bit longer?

I would just make the most of the quiet and sleep. Just leave her and feed her when she wakes. Congratulations in your DD!

Goodness me, yes leave her asleep, lucky you. Stocking up on milk during day & sleeping through the night is what you want to encourage.

Only generally need to wake them to feed if there's concerns about low weight.

God I am so jealous. My 5 week old wakes every 2-3 hours and takes an hour to feed and resettle. Some babies naturally try to sleep through from early on. I would wait for her to wake and you could always try "tanking up" if you're worried she's not getting enough. I.e. doing 2 or 3 feeds at 2 hour intervals before final feed at 10/11pm?

Envy
I'm told that it's ok to sleep them through the night once they've regained their birth weight

Get rid of that alarm clock and enjoy the sleep!

Woohoo! I won't wake her then. She's putting on a huge amount of weight (already 13.5lb) so I guess she knows what she's doing, even though I don't!
