My guess is that he latched on differently to protect his sore lip.Also possible you have a breast infection - keep an eye on it and check it out if it gets worse. Keep him on the 'good' nipple only if it is really agonising to feed on the right - if you feel uncomfortable gently hand express. This will resolve itself probably.
Well....infections do sort themselves out, even breast infections. If it gets worse, though, of course you would see a doc.
