I don't know if this has already been asked Blush . I'm not in the at risk groups for NHS to do one for me but I've had a flu jab for the last 4 years (usually done via work) and would like one this year. My work were unable to let me have a flu jab there (they have a GP come in to the building to do them) as I am bfing. Does anyone know if I can go to boots etc and pay to have one done there if I'm bfing? I've checked the boots web site but can't find anything Hmm

Reastie, hello Grin How are things? You might find this useful, you'll probably want to print a copy and take it with you. The pharmacist at my local Boots is a bugger and won't sell you a damn thing if you say you are BF. I don't know what their policy is on offering the flu jab to BF women.

Very useful link thanks eaurouge . At least I know I should be OK to have it I guess. The hunting will commence for telephoning them all and seeing if they are willing to do it for me. Some chemists are Angry at what they will and won't sell you arn't they? Things are good thanks - ALice now 7 months already - so so quick isn't it? I'm back to work in december and have much mixed feelings about it, maybe because I know it'll be so hard to leave Alice. How are things at rougetowers? If you ever feel like popping into the pn feb group I'm sure everyone would love to say hello Grin

NHS says yes too about having the flu jab while breastfeeding. TBH I'm going to lie about it when I get mine. Grin
