Hi all,
Need advice I'm in a lot of pain with my right breast. It is lumpy and very painful. It happens now and then but usually if my Lo feeds from it through out the day it sorts itself out. But not this time, all day it seems worse. Tried rubbing, stroking it, hot bath, lots of feeds and tried to express but just seems worse. Do I need to go to the doctor?
It's painful when Lo feeds too.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Thank u. X

I would say go and see the doctor as it could be a blocked duct or mastitis - if is it mastitis you will prob neeed antibiotics. Whilst waiting for your appt keep on with feeding lots from the right side, and try putting a warm flannel on it and massaging it.

Someone has also told me that cabbage leaves suffed in your bra helps - no personal experience of this but others swear by it!

Hope you feel better soon
