When does let down become less painful usually?

I'm feeding dd who is 2 and a bit weeks old.
It's still painful at the beginning of each feed when the milk starts coming out which then eases off as she feeds.
How long is it usually until this stops being painful?

I have never noticed let down during feeds, but do notice it in between feeds. I can't remember when it stopped feeling painful, but it's quite a while since I have thought about it, so it must be a while now. DD is 11 weeks old.

DD is 24 weeks and let down is still painful. Sorry I'm sure that's not what you want to hear! I just got used to mine smile

my ds is ten weeks and letdown is still very sore, I have been told that it might be worse due to my oversupply issue and once I sort that out that the letdown should improve.

for me it was just a few weeks.. but as you can see from replies it can vary a lot!

for me feeding was nice experience as opposed to toe curling at about 6 weeks. hold on in there!
