6oz on in a week. Woo hoo. He's also seemed loads more settled since topping him up with a bottle of EBM. Only managing to get 50-60 ml in a day at the moment but its better than nothing.

Switch nursing seems to have made the most difference - so thanks to those who suggested that.

I've also been dairy free for a few days and the screaming episodes have definately lessened but I realise it will take up to 2weeks to be sure that the CMP is responsible for the reflux.

Have an appt with GP tomorrow to review the reflux meds.

Seems little elf is thriving!

Youjusthaven't I was asleep. Not now!

Can I also thank whoever it was who suggested pumping in the middle of the night? I think it was Camdancer. Whilst I'm never going to win prizes for amount expressed its certainly getting easier.

Hi!
I read your other post and just wanted to say that my DS has been almost exactly the same as yours. He is also 9 weeks, took 4 weeks to regain birth weight ad is now between 0.4 and 2nd centiles but has been gaining steadily the last few weeks. So just to let you know you are not alone!
Hope your LO carries on doing well :)

Thought I'd post a quick update. After someone's suggestion that he might have TT I asked my local IFS to have another look in his mouth and lo and behold she found a posterior TT. Had it snipped a week over a week ago and although it's no miracle cure the marathon feeding sessions have lessened.

Weight gain is slow but steady and he's still holding his own on his line albeit the 0.4% one. I've given up cows milk which has stopped the howling and switch nursing works well for us. The connection between reflux and CMPI was suggested here as was the TT and switch nursing. Your advice backed up with great RL support has meant that my 15 wk old beautiful baby boy is still EBF and much more importably is thriving.

Thanks to all those who gave their support!
