Huge hard boobs, nursing bras or crop top suggestions

My newly milky boobs are just about a size 36 J cup and growing. I just cannot find nursing bras this big or a crop top to see me through this period. Has anyone got any good recommendations?

how about buying a vest top in a size or two smaller than you normally would? Might be tight enough across the boobs to hold nursing pads in place. Otherwise, the usual Bravissimo, Figleaves etc but will be ££.

You may find that sports bras are good as they have no underwiring and are available in firm support options with wide straps and a deep band. Asda do them at £5 each -a good price if you're at the early engorged days and unsure what size you'll finally need. They are in normal cup sizes but have a bit of stretch. Otherwise Mothercare do cotton crop-top style sleep bras with nursing clips, 2 for £20 or £24 depending on style. I got these as a gift and they're ok. They're available in dress sizes rather than cup size.

Hi jasmine51

Royce doe bigger cup sizes and I fin them to be pretty supportive and comfy.

Here is a link

You sound, like orchidee says, like you are are engorged. This is pretty normal in the early days, although there are some ways you can help this. Feeding is obviously the easiest way to drain your boobs but if you find you are engorged between feeds you can try gentle hand expression to relieve the pressure if you are uncomfortable. Even standing in a warm shower can help in the early days.

im a 34k and have to say the mothercare crop tops are crap - don't even hold breast pads in place, let alone boobs! Once my milk was established i dropped a cup size, and now 13 weeks in ive dropped another cup size and back size - must go buy some more bras!

Royce do nursing bras up to an L cup but a bit boring. Panache have lovely ones up to J cup. Pricey but you need to take good care of your boobs!

Just to clarify, I think the MC crop tops are okay for sleep bras in a crop top style, I'm not sure any crop tops would be great. I'm all for looking after the norks as they are doing a full-time job, I just suggested cheap sports bras for the engorged period as a quick and easy option before you know what size of £££ nursing bras you'd need.
