Making up fresh feeds whilst out for the day?

Hi, sorry if this has been done before but need some advice on the best way to make up feeds whilst out for a baby who will only drink milk warm! DD was EBF but due to a medical condition is now having some formula feeds. I have tommee tippee bottles, with the little pots to store the milk powder and the insulated bags but they dont keep the boiled water warm for more than a couple of hours and I'll be away from home for probably 8 hours at least. Does anyone know if it's ok to take freshly boiled water in a thermos and make up the bottles as needed? Sorry if I sound stupid, I just want to make the bottles in the safest possible way and at a temperature that she will actually take! Thanks!

I think as long as your thermos is spotlessly clean (in boiling water, or dishwasher or cold water sterilising solution) and air dried then it should be OK. I would do that.

You'll have to be sure the thermos will keep the water at above 70 degrees, but if it will then that sounds like a safe way to do it.

I use the ready made cartons when out and about. They're more expensive, but they are convenient and safe.
