colief colic drops

Has any1 used the colief colic drops before ? I have been using them for a few days and they really seem to b workin well! My 4wk old seems a lot calmer and even managed to get him in his moses basket today which is a miracle. The problem is it says u hav to put the drops into room temp milk 30 mins before feed which is fine in the day bur at nite wen he wakes for food he wants it immediately and its a half hour fight to keep him calm tonight I hav not been able to calm him and just given in and fed him straight away! Does any1 know if I can add the drops to the pre made up bottles for the night or any way around this problem?

IF YOU NEED TO MAKE-UP YOUR BABY'S FEED IN ADVANCE

Make-up your baby's feed carefully according to the manufacturer's instructions
Add 2 drops of Colief® Infant Drops to milk that is warm, not hot, and store in the refrigerator for approx 4 hours before use
Warm to feeding temperature and feed the baby

I read that also but it only says for made up formula I couldn't that it said if I can do that with redy to use formula coz the instructiOns r slightly defferent! Also I have just run out and it only lasted about 3 days and its £11 for a bottle I am gutted because its really working but I caant afford £20 a week for it

Your GP can give you a prescription for Colief if it is helping. I tried it with my colicky DD and for a while it did work and then it became far less effective. I sympathise with you; it is so sad when they are inconsolable like that. It generally only lasts weeks, hold fast and best of luck.

consider trying lactose free formula instead. Like sma lf. Its more expensive than normal formula, but loads less hassle than colief, just make up like regular powdered formula.
