Engorged Breast with Wedges in the morning, what do I do?

Hi,

My right boob seems to be oversupplying at the moment and I keep waking up with lumps and wedges in it every morning, and when DS feeds it literally squirts like a fountain. I also woke up this morning having covered me and the bed in breastmilk.

I've tried block nursing which seems to have sorted out my left boob but right boob seems particulary resistant. DS does clear the wedges in the morning, but I'm fed up of waking up like this. Is there anything I can do?

I would carry on with the block feeding, but increase the amount of time per breast. That should rein in your supply.

You know that if any blocks don't clear easily, you can try feeding with the baby's chin to the blockage?

So I would do three hours on one breast then do three on another?
