Just that really. I've been popping in to check if the new book has been announced. I'd miss the book club.

Likewise - has made me read so many interesting things I would never have read. Please keep it up!

Kiwirose · 16/01/2018 20:21

me too. I've been checking in and wondering if my sign up got cancelled. If it no longer runs please can you change the website so we all know. I will miss it because it encouraged me to read authors I never would have otherwise

I got a MN Book newsletter recently but don't recall seeing any mention of the monthly book club reads or even many giveaways. I wonder whether they're not getting any more publisher deals? I used to look forward to reading the author q&a sessions too. Strange there doesn't seem to be any comment from @Mumsnet on this?

Hey bookclubbers, There will be news of Mumsnet bookclub in this week's books newsletter, so make sure you're signed up. We're looking forward to reading and discussing more books with you throughout the year! The thread for our first book will go live on 1st Feb.

Wolfiefan · 18/01/2018 15:59

There's a 2018 book of the month thread too

gailforce1 · 25/01/2018 16:09

I have received my e mail and some good books are on the list.
Candy if you look to the right hand side of this page you will see Books: useful Mumsnet stuff and under this is Mumsnet book club. Click on this and you should be able to sign up.

Thanks to everyone for your interest in Mumsnet Book club. Find out more about it and see the first 4 books that we're reading this year. We'll be starting the discussion thread for our first book Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine next week and I'll post a link from this thread.

BouncingJellyfish · 29/01/2018 12:12

Brilliant. Thanks Mumsnet. I've been part of book club since 2012. I don't get past the Kindle sample with every book, but I've enjoyed most of them. Read a few books that I wouldn't normally go for, and enjoyed a couple I didn't think would be my cup of tea.

I have just read Eleanor Oliphant.... and I couldn’t get enough of it. I was disappointed when I finished because I was no longer able to read it. I’ll be looking out for the discussion

mamapants · 03/02/2018 19:39

How do I find the thread on Eleanor Oliphant, I think it was meant to open on the 1st Feb but can't spot it anywhere?

Clawdy · 06/02/2018 12:15

Wasn't there always a book give away offer with Book of the Month? The book offers seem to have stopped. And I've given up trying to join the Book Club, no matter how many times I try to subscribe, I never receive newsletters.

mamapants · 06/02/2018 12:33

Ive just signed up for the newsletter, don't know if it's worked. See the thread on Eleanor Oliphant is now up though.

Hi mamapants - sorry for the delay - the discussion thread is now live.

Hi Clawdy - sorry you're having difficulties signing up for the newsletter. I'll drop you a message to check to see what is going wrong. We've changed book of the month a bit this year and are no longer offering up 50 free books at the start of the month. However, we will be running lots of comps across our social media channels -so make sure you're signed up to Mumsnet Facebook, Mumsnet Towers and Mumsnet bookclub twitter feeds and Mumsnet Instagram. We'll also be offering ten free copies of the next month's books to those who join in the live author webchat - the winners will be announced at the end of the webchat. Finally - we're hoping to work with a commercial partner in the future and offer up discounts on all Mumsnet book club books. We'll keep you posted on this.

Is there a list anywhere of all the book club titles from previous years? I'm looking for more books to add to my kindle and the MN book club has great taste!

gailforce1 · 17/06/2018 14:19

Is there a list of the books for the rest of the year? Be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction!

For you, WrenDouglas (and a few others who have asked) we've put together a list of the last three years' book of the month titles. Tell us if you decide to read any and also let us know if you want us to go back further...

Hi Gailforce1 - we can share the next three month's book titles:

Why Mummy Swears by Gill Simms
Lullaby by Leila Slimani
Fierce by Gin Phillips
gailforce1 · 19/06/2018 22:02

Thank you RachelMumsnet. Are they July, August and September?
