Facebook and twitter page help!!

I'm losing my mind and almost being put off blogging altogether just from the start!

So I've started to set up my page on Facebook. It won't let me add a description to my page without a message coming up saying "the Facebook place associated with your page was not able to be updated at this time" ..... WHAT!

Then on twitter I can't seem to link both my Fb page and my twitter page so both my accounts are synced when I'm posting.

I am very new to this please be kind, I refuse to give up on my blog idea just because I'm facing small teething problems.

Could anyone help please!!!
