Anyone have any tips on video blogging and how to edit and record videos please?

Hello there! I actually have started my youtube channel recently and can offer a few basic tips. I record with my phone but use a tripod (got it from amazon). You just have to make sure it high enought to record you while you are sitting down and that you can ajust it's position. After that I just connect my phone to my computer and edit the video on Sony Vegas (you have to pay for this program) but on windows you can use movie maker (or imovie on MAC) and those are free. Sony vegas is a bit complicated but once you get the hang of it it's fine. The good thing about it is it has a lot of features that the other two don't. But if you just want something simple to just trim and cut the 'bad' parts of the video, movie maker or imovie totally do the job! :)
