Problems registering blog

LouiseGriffiths08 · 20/10/2015 10:37

Hi all, just looking for some advice. I've been having problems registering my blog on the mumsnet site. When I go on to the site to register and put in my blog address, it's coming up saying it's not valid. I've tried tweaking the address slightly and that seemed to go through, but still haven't heard back from mumsnet.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks
Louise Griffiths

I've been trying for ages with my blog racheljgood.wordpress.com Really sad as was hoping it would be up for World Diabetes Day on the 14th.

How long is Mumsnet taking to register a blog these days?

It's my second blog (First is currently rather neglected Blush) but it's only been a couple of day.

No big problem though. I'm only using it as a suppository for all the silly poems I seem to write all the time. Just felt I should put them down somewhere. poemsbytiggy.blogspot.co.uk/

Still no luck. The Mumsnet Bloggers Network is very hard to crack isn't it?

Crickets are little hopping bugs
And cricket is a game.
To save all the confusion
One should change it's name.

If I went to a cricket match
It just won't do at all
To get there and have to watch
Some insects play football.

Have any of you had any luck? I'm having the same problems - have emailed but no response yet. Feeling disappointed Sad

I think I've applied twice now, but not had any response on email or anything. I get the emails for the Insight Panel asking me to put the widget up on my site to potentially review things, but I can't find the widget either!

Getting a bit frustrated to be honest :(

Hi everyone,

We've been a little overwhelmed recently by new member registrations. We are doing our best to get you all signed up and active on the network, but we're sorry that you've had to wait a little longer than usual.

If you're still waiting for us to approve your registration, please could you send us a little nudge in an email today and we'll do our absolute best to make sure you're joined up as soon as possible.

Thank you Kiran! Glad to hear there is still hope for us all here in the antechamber! I have not even got to the registration stage as every time I try I am told my url is not valid. I have emailed, do I need to email again? Nice cake! Grin

I'm over at //www.themumfrombrum.co.uk :)

Fingers crossed yours will go through soon. I didn't get any notification of mine, so make sure you check your mumsnet account profile page as your Blogger network profile gets included on there!

How would we know whether it has been accepted? I think I registered a few months ago now but not heard anything yet.

WWW, click on My Mumsnet and then My Account. Underneath 'About You' it should say you are signed up to the Bloggers network. If it doesn't I would send them an email to check was has happened.

Yes it says registration not yet active. What's the email address?
