I'm Laura and i'm looking for a wonderful mother to be... Who might be interested in doing the very generous favour of allowing me to observe her and her baby in the family setting for 2 years as part of a 2 year course I am doing at the Tavistock Centre. Observations start as soon after birth as the mother is comfortable with and until 2nd birthday. I am not able to observe a friend's baby or even a friend's friend's baby which is why the search is quite tricky.. There has to be a significant degree of neutrality.

I am an SEN teacher and a student at the Tavistock Clinic based in Hackney. I am looking for a London based family expecting a baby who would be happy for me to observe once a week for 1 hour during 2 years in the home setting. The observation is an integral part of the course giving me the unique experience of observing the very early development of relationships between babies and primary carer(s.)
