I have tried to deal with Currys on 2 occasions since Comet closed down. I ordered an electric cooker and paid extra for it to be installed(the very reason I chose to go with them ie the installation service). On arriving at the house they said "they could not install it". Although I was a little frustrated I accepted this and phoned Currys to ask for a refund of the £60 paid for the installation. Curry's said they could not find a record of the £60 paid - and after spending many evenings on the phone asking for my refund, sending letters with copies of my bank statements showing the £60 they have taken I eventually gave up.

The second time I ordered a Washing Machine and they kept cancelling the delivery date - they are a nightmare to deal with and getting refunded is virtually impossible.
