Hi Mums

OK... I am that animator and I am here on an advisory capacity just to at least make all of you parents aware to what your children are actually watching each day. Some subtle some not, I really just want you guys to be educated in this.

Is this a serious post?

Because honestly, there are so many actual issues going on in the world you don't have to invent them.

Defence against what exactly?

I had a quite look at these 'satanic images' you profess to have found and they were either

  1. Completely tenuous and if in existence probably a bit of a giggle amongst the graphic team and harmless

  1. Related to the stories being portrayed, like Pan in Narnia, that wasn't 'Disney' that was the person who wrote Narnia!

Or a mix of the two.

You get your 'facts' from Wikipedia (which is ridiculous as Wikipedia is not a fact source it is an opinion source and that is all it has ever professed to be and you can't spell simple words.

Seriously, educate yourself, get involved in some actual real stuff going on in the world because this is pathetic.

Does "here on an advisory capacity" mean "talking out of my arse?"

Nobody has 'abused' you.

think of your children instead

What exactly should I be 'thinking' of with regards to my children? Do you think that seeing the number 33 is going to harm them in some way? Do you think that the word 'sex' possibly written in one of their favourite films is going to 'do' something to them? Because it is not. Have you seen childrens cartoons from when you were a child? Because they are full of sexual innuendos and all sorts of other things. Kids don't notice stuff like that because they are children.

I would rather my children enjoyed family friendly entertainment than got so 'tinfoil hat' about the fact they might read the word 'sex' for a split second that I deny them a really exciting and healthy part of childhood.

Trust me, I haven't watched Frozen 15million times in the last six months for my own benefit.

Btw if you open that youtube video and scroll across at the bottom you can avoid the 10 MINUTES of crap and actually just skip to the bits where they 'highlight' the incredibly 'evils' in the Disney films mentioned...

Most of which are either completely fabricated or to do with the stories (which have nothing to do with Disney)

The rest of it is either made up or just the cartoonists having a laugh, which frankly after drawing Simba every day for 3 years repeatedly I can sort of let them off on!

Are you my mother?

She didn't buy proctor and gamble products forbears because the man looking at the stars in the trademark was apparently an astrologer (not an astronomer) and as such demonic.

Anyway Disney is pish and really concerning - but jot particularly for the reasons you give.

I started watching this but the words weren't on the screen long enough to read them which rather defeats the point.

OMG 33 looks like two pairs of breasts! It must be that Disney was encouraging lesbianism!

Hang on, I just need to go and edit Wikipedia....

Towers are phallic? No shit!

You do know Walt Disney didn't write the Chronicles of Narnia, don't you?

There is enough blatant sexism and racism in Disney without them bothering to put it in subliminally.

Missing parent stories are popular across Europe and have been for centuries. It makes home an unsafe place and means our young hero/ine needs to make his/her own way through life using his/her own resources. It's a story telling device, not a sinister plot.

1/10 I've seen most of this drivel before

And of course animators are going to put pagan symbols in Egyption scenes, they were fucking pagans, crosses and fish would look bloody stupid!

There is no escape. Pugwash had a sailor called Seaman Staines, my favourite childhood book had a character named Titty, no wonder we are All Doomed.

We are all doomed, aren't we?

A bit doomed, at least?
