BlogFest 2014 has landed!

Our glittering celebration of sharp writing and big ideas will be held at Kings Place on Saturday 8th November - and if you book now, you can take advantage of our brilliant Super Early Bird ticket, priced at just £59.

We're super excited about what we've got planned this year – as well as keynotes to get your neurones fizzing, we'll have skill-sharing round-tables, expert masterclasses (think getting to grips with the Dark Arts of virality and working on your video skills) and thought-provoking panel discussions on everything from honing your comic timing to how blogging can get the issues you care about onto the national agenda.

There will also be loads of opportunities to connect with fellow bloggers and impressive sponsors – plus a delicious lunch, a fabulous evening reception with plenty of gin and fizz, and our legendary goody bags to round off the day.

If all that hasn't convinced you, do have a look at last year's dazzling speakers - which included the very wise Prof Tanya Byron, campaigning MP Stella Creasy, storyteller extraordinaire Jon Ronson and the brilliant Jo Brand - and check our the video highlights.

So, whether you're a gifted newbie or a seasoned hand - or a non-blogger who just wants to take part in some cracking discussions and debates - join us!

If you came to BlogFest '13, we'd love to see you again. Do share your memories here on the thread to give newbies a feel for the day - and if you didn't come last year but would like to join us in November, this is the place to post your wibbles or questions, and connect with fellow attendees. Or, you can add a post to our official #BlogFest2014 linky, here.

Roll on November!

This sounds fab! As a new and inexperienced blogger of only 2 months, I'm really keen to soak up as much knowledge and experience from others as I can and I love the idea of getting to meet fellow bloggers and make some contacts (and hopefully friends!) I'm on maternity leave at the moment so money is tight to say the least - I'm thinking this could be a little birthday prezzie. Better start dropping a few hints.... Hopefully see you there!

Anyone go to this last year and what did they think? I'm particularly interested in increasing traffic to website and needing help with that.

I've been trying to get hold of someone about a refund on my ticket. Due to a change in personal circumstances I can no longer afford the transport or accomodation to make attending possible. I have tried emailing and reaching out on twitter and to no avail - who do I talk to?

Given that the refunds end this week I'd like to get this sorted please! :(
