Hello everyone, to celebrate the Easter holidays we had our first family day out yesterday. Any comments on how you prepare to go out (and timings) are welcome.

Hi Everyone. One of my blog followers has a child that is allergic to gluten and rice. Making bread is tricky as most commercial recipes use rice flour.
Here is my recipe for brown gram bread which is rice and gluten free.

That is a beautiful looking cake Nanniejo

Has been ages since I posted on here. My recent offerring was Fiakergulasch.... a famous, gorgeous, delicious Viennese stew featuring beef, pickles, frankfurters and topped with a fried egg. Just lovely. Dh made it for me when I was going mad studying (I am doing a law degree.... not sure what I was thinking!!!).

My blogging has gone off the boil a bit lately so I am trying to get more consistent and more organised. I am aiming for a post every Monday and Thursday. It started as a food blog, but I feel the need to branch out a bit more... to gardening, spring, days out.

I love reading all your blogs. :)

Having a strop about a whinyarse piece in the Guardian harassment and sexism

Great piece SolidGoldBrass. DF just doesn't really get it, does he.

In staid contrast I offer a courgette cake recipe. :)

An odd combination in this weeks blog...
living a life without feeling the need to get one

Filimou · 10/04/2014 15:05

Though if anyone does read it I would really appreciate any feedback, as for once it seems a bit angry/rambly and as much as I try I am not sure I am making my point very well..................

Last week was Autism awareness week. So here is my latest blog helping people to understand one aspect of autism: empathy. Killing an animal is often deemed as an act without empathy, but does that mean the perpertrator has to be autistic...?
