Transgender children

I share with you that I am transgender, and reach out to mums to help make the world more compassionate, and safer place for transgender children - who obviously grow to become transgender adults.

Suicide is very high amongst the transgender community. I was born female but struggled with accepting the female body I was born into, from the earliest age (toddler). I reach out to mumsnet as the political and social force it is, because I am reading about suicides too often and want to help. I have remained in my female body because I fear social rejection, loss of job, home, friends and family - but live a lonely life as a result of feeling trapped in the wrong body and life. I read about young children who are going through what I have gone through. Please help the world a more loving place for all. We all want to be loved and accepted for our authentic selves, and all can relate to that.
