Hi, im hoping that you can put my mind at rest with any knowledge that you may have.....i will explain.... I had sex with a friend it was unprotected but he didnt ejaculate inside me or even come close. 2 days later (bang on que!) I then got my period

. I always have a regular 27/28/29 day cycle....

About 2 weeks later (13 days from the start of my period) i then slept with my ex (he did ejaculate inside me) ....11 days after the deed, i got paranoid that i could be pregnant so took a test off ebay (those cheap early detect ones) however it was negative. ...I missed my period then took another different, more expensive test and it was positive.

I have had an 8 week scan (that was 1 day off for my ex) and then my 12 week scan said the baby was 12 weeks 3 days...(also 1 day off for my ex) I am now worrying that it was my friend who got me pregnant (although i had a period and negative test) and the dates of my scan just dont add up for my friend!

I also know that sex 2 days before my period i would not have been ovulating and then my period came as normal. Also as i said my friend didnt ejaculate in me and my ex did. What are your thoughts??? it must be hormones cus i know the obvious answer i just feel like i need other opinions :...Thank you sooo much

Also surely if it was my friends baby i would be dating as 4 weeks bigger than what i am (2 weeks before my ex + 2 weeks they add on from your last period to the date of conception) Hope that makes sense ....Thank you

It must be your ex

I agree with Karen4007 - it was your ex.

You had a period after you slept with your friend and the timing is wrong. An implantation bleed (which is what might be on your mind) is only a small amount of blood, over a short period of time; it's not like a full length period. Scans are quite accurate; they measure the baby, not your bump. There is a small margin of error; one day would fit the margin of error. It is incredibly unlikely that a scan would date a normal, healthy 16 week baby as measuring only 12 weeks.

It is possible to have what appear to be periods, while you are pregnant. However, such bleeds are typically short and light - certainly lighter than an actual period. However, I would again refer you to the scan that dates your pregnancy as being conceived by your ex.

GL and best wishes for whatever your future holds. x
