How blogging has changed my life...

Seriously, it has, in so many small but significant ways.
Without being too boring about it, before blogging I did some writing and even more thinking about writing. I also wanted things to change in my life.
Then when I started blogging, doing it almost every day, I suddenly realised how much better my writing became and how I was now in the habit of writing - as opposed to avoiding it, making excuses, wanting to do it but...and so on.
Thanks to writing so much on the blog, I now write every day, or do some writing related work and it has changed things in so many ways.
I've (self) published books which would probably never have been written and been able to edit my work in a new way too.
I don't know if any of this is of interest to other bloggers, I just wanted to share as quite a few of you have had a hand in this transformation, with encouragement and advice at the start, when I had no idea at all what I was doing!
So, thank you Mumsnet bloggers!

Amanda

Hi, what a lovely post! I too am an aspiring writer and committing to writing a regular blog has really disciplined me. Now I have followers I feel that my daily blog is far more motivational than trying to write a journal or in a notebook every day.

Good luck!

Thanks for the nice comments!
It can be hard going, though, but I'd recommend blogging in place of a journal to any writer.
