I've just written a post to be published later next week or over the weekend (I'm undecided!) It wasnt what I was intending to write and my stuff is normally quite light hearted or focuses on my CFS/ME. But this is about depression, I guess more specifically post-natal depression.

I was just wondering if there was an awareness week, linkup or other sort of thing goinng round I could attach it to. I dont want to not post it as I really like it and its the first time I've ever really written about my expiearience with depression. But at the same time I need to make it 'fit' better with my blog.

Does that make sence? Any one have any ideas?

I may just post it anyway!

Sorry, just saw this!

I would just post it. After all, at the end of the day, your blog is about you, right?

That's what I had more or less decided tee! Thanks. I decided tomorroww as Sunday is the quietest day on my blog so I can 'hide' it? I dont know, as much as I want to post it, I'm scared of what family and friends might say as many of them didnt/dont know about my depression.

Well, whatever they say, know you did the right thing by talking about it.

The more we talk about our depression, the less the stigma will be for everyone.

People are interested i think, Cbeebies, I don't get the whole blog thing, but i sadly, get the whole depression thing and Tee is right, the more people are open about it the better. Its a good thing you have done. Sharing experiences helps people to understand and feel less alone x
