I've just blogged on my first blogging challenge. The #pinaddicts challenge was to pin something on Pinterest, make it, and then show everyone. I made a wicked tutu with no sewing involved!

Hi, my DH and I have an ongoing "thing" about the bread machine. Although the fresh bread is winning me over, I am a bit jealous of the attention that my hubby is giving it. Being a bit silly and to add to our ongoing Facebook debates, I wrote a poem about it. Hope you enjoy it and it makes you laugh.

Mums, are you getting a bit stressed out with the kids being on holiday ? www.forty-not-out.blogspot.co.uk

Hello fellow bloggers.
Have just posted my latest and it's called A Difficult Conversation.
We've all had them, the occasion when you've been holding something back from your friend and it has to come out. Very uncomfortable.

Hi everyone - here's my post all about a crush I've been deliberately indulging!

Of illness and my current crush

Hello all,

I am gutted that the little easter bunny smilies have gone... boo hoo. Can we have summer ones with little sunglasses and big floppy sun hats do you think?

Anyhow, I have realised I seem to have got into the habit of reading mumsnet blogs on Saturdays, meaning I've been adding my links to the week's list right at the last moment of the week! Very silly.

Anyhow, this week I am SO EXCITED to have found jeans that actually fit. Sceptical? hmm Don't be! They don't gape or anything! shock

Check out my review at I have found the best jeans ever!

It's all been about reviews the last couple of weeks. Not sure why, other than co-incidentally we've been to a couple of lovely places (Chatsworth was such good fun - we are still eating the chocolate eggs) and I've been shopping for clothes!

If you are still in Easter holiday mode, we've had a couple more Easter craft activities added to the Easter Linky.

Now off to read yours!

Now that I appear to be selling over a thousand books a month, people seem to think I can dispense writing advice like, well, some sort of WRITER. Here, therefore are my top tips for writers... ;)
