I have decided to start a blog but have no idea where to start.

Any recommendations for sites etc?

If you are going to use the name Droitwichmummy, do be warned that there is already a blogger of the name Dulwichmummy (or similar) so you might want to think of a name that is not going to have readers confused if you are she.

Other than that, choose either WP or Blogger, and get stuck in.

Oh, good start!

You might like to think about making the background of your text box lighter and the text dark. If your blog is to be mainly text rather than photos then it makes it easier to read.

Love the name of the blog and you have a good writing style.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm going to try to keep it as light as I can bearing in mind the reason for the blog. I need to work out tags etc, but its a start.
